周少华博士现任中国科学技术大学教授、生物医学工程学院创始执行院长、医学影像智能与机器人(MIRACLE)研究中心主任、中科院计算所客座研究员、香港中文大学(深圳)客座教授。长期致力于医学影像的研究创新、应用落地及学术服务。(i)研究创新:在医学影像领域,率先开展“机器学习+知识模型”的系统性研究,明确“大任务、小数据”的研究范式和挑战,形成标注高效、通用模型、知识融合的三个解决途径。撰编学术专著8本,发表300余篇学术论文和章节;近三年在医学影像分析两大顶级期刊上发表论文40余篇。(ii) 应用落地:在工业界有长达14年的经历,曾任西门子高级研发总监及首席AI专家。获授权专利逾150项,算法成功转入10多项FDA批准的产品。产品部署在全球几千家医院,用于逾7百万病人的临床治疗诊断(13-17年)。(iii)学术服务:医学影像计算和计算机辅助介入顶级协会MICCAI执委兼理事(19-24)、中国生物医学工程学会人工智能分会副主任委员、Medical Open Network for AI(MONAI)顾问、顶级期刊Medical Image Analysis 、IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence(TPAMI)、IEEE Trans.
